How do I get a subscription?
Currently we handle our subscriptions and logins through Patreon. Make a free Patreon account then make your way over to our page, from there you can sign up for one of the tiers to get access to everything Solaris has to offer! If you are given a code by a GM on the vanguard commander sub level, you must first try to login on the main Solaris site. After it tells you to get a subscription, head over to the Vanguard Commander site, and enter the code, this will assign you access to the Wikiplanetaria and online sheets.

What features are planned?
We have a massive backlog of features for every aspect of Solaris! Some include expanded functionality for the character sheets, such as a gm section to manage a host of npc characters and ships at once, the ability to share characters and ships, live editing ships, connecting characters to a campaign, UI improvements, and adding whole libraries of weapons, armor, and skills that can be added by the add button. We also plan to add an apple and android app version eventually. On top of all that, we have ideas to expand and improve mechanics, core rules, core classes, bonus and expansion classes, and increased Wikiplanetaria content. We even have some custom dice planned to make rolls easier!

How do I get discord access?
When you sign up for one of the subscription levels, Patreon will automatically set up access to the Solaris discord server, called the AstroPub.

If I’m on the Guide or Vanguard Commander level, how do I get my private instance of the Wikiplanetaria?
Once you sign up, you will send an email to us asking for us to set one up. Unfortunately, at the moment we still have to do it manually, but we’ll have it stood up within a couple hours to a day depending on when we are contacted. We’ll aim to do it asap though. It will be an instance connected to a subdomain of planetaria.cloud where you’ll have a unique link and will login using the built in registration instead of sso so that you can use it with a party that might have people without subscriptions.

I created a character on the dev version of Solaris and can’t get my character in the prod version, how do I move them over?
At the moment there is no way to move the characters over, however we will be working on features to allow sharing of characters, so eventually you’ll be able to move characters around freely.

I want to update my private Wikiplanetaria instance with the new official version of the Wikiplanetaria, how do I do this?
Just let us know! We’ll get the new stuff merged in for you and make sure any of your personal updates remain (unless you want a fresh version then we can replace the whole thing).

How do I join the playtests that Guides and Vanguard Commanders have access to?
We will have a sign up area within discord that the Guides and Vanguard Commanders can use to sign up for playtest sessions. This will be a rotating schedule as there are only a few of us, but we'll make sure we get to everyone!
